SUMMARY:Women's Circle (In Person)
DESCRIPTION:A congregant-led discussion on topics of interest to Jewish Women and those who identify as Jewish Women. This month: ÒShe/They: WhatÕs in a Pronoun?Ó with Stessa Peers\nUsing and asking for someoneÕs pronouns is a great way to be inclusive. Join Stessa Peers to learn about pronouns\, and what is Jewish about using the ones that people ask us to use. In this discussion\, we will look at how we identify ourselves\, and others\, and why using all (and the correct) pronouns helps us cultivate a truly inclusive society.\nStessa Peers is the Director of Education and Youth Engagement at Temple Beth Abraham. A pioneer in our congregation in bringing awareness and understanding around issues of gender identification and inclusion\, she has been a part of KeshetÕs LGBTQIA+ inclusion initiative\, the URJÕs Culture of Belonging Project. She is very proud of her involvement in the creation of TBAÕs Pride Shabbat\, Teen Pride events\, our all-gender bathroom\, and diversity\, equity and inclusion training for the TBA board. She is passionate about TBA being inclusive and accessible to all.\nGuests are welcome.\nPlease register at bit.ly/TBAWomen\nThere is no charge for this program.
