SUMMARY:Yom HaShoah Speaker and Service

Abraham Foxman was the National Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Ð a position he held for nearly 30 years. Abe is a Holocaust survivor and world-renowned leader in the fight against antisemitism\, bigotry and discrimination. He is the co-author of Viral Hate: Containing Its Spread on the Internet and author of Jews & Money: The Story of a Stereotype\, The Deadliest Lies: The Israel Lobby and the Myth of Jewish Control and Never Again? The Threat of the New Anti-Semitism. Abe survived the Holocaust because he was given a false identity. In 1941\, when ordered into a ghetto\, his parents left him with his Polish Catholic nanny\, Bronislawa Kurpi. He was baptized as Henryk Stanislaw Kurpi and raised as a Catholic in Vilnius until 1944\, when he was reunited with his parents. Abe now serves on the United States Holocaust Memorial Council.\nThis presentation is appropriate for everyone 9 yrs. old and older and takes place both in person and streaming on our website: https://tba-ny.org/live-service-streaming/\nVisitors\, please preregister with the Temple Office at (914) 631-1770.
