A Reform and Conservative Synagogue Serving the Rivertowns
When the Israelites were finally leaving Egypt, they asked Pharaoh for gold and goods to cover all the free labor they had given. And they got it! This is a pretty early instance of Reparations. This Rosh Hashanah we explore the idea of Reparations for Holocaust survivors and the African-American community. As before, our service will be interactive, inclusive, and provocative. This time we will take advantage of early September to be outside, enjoying Nature as we sing, read, talk, and examine. The program will be moved inside in the event of inclement weather.
The program is geared to adults and children over 10 (who must be accompanied by their parents).
Proof of Vaccination is required to attend. If you are not vaccinated, you MUST wear a mask. Children who cannot be vaccinated must also wear a mask.
