This month’s movie: A Trumpet in the Wadi (Hatzotzra Ba-Vadi)
Huda, a shamefully single, 30-year old Arab-Christian woman, lives with her family in Israel. Her very different younger sister, Mery, secretly runs around with the landlord’s son. But when a new family moves in next door, Huda gets her own chance at romance as she finds herself attracted to their trumpet-playing son, Alex. The only problem is that Alex is Jewish.
