The History of Jews from Arab Countries

Joseph Levy, an authority on the Jewish communities in Arab countries, will speak about a subject he has been passionate about for the past thirty-five years, and one that he feels is often not given enough attention.
He will begin with a brief modern history of Jews from Arab countries, and then focus on Egypt, where he was born. Questions and discussion will follow.
Mr. Levy has lectured at synagogues and Jewish centers throughout New York and New Jersey and has been very well received.
Light refreshments will be served.
