Together, we can help our neighbors put food on their tables.
There is a dramatic increase for the need for food assistance. Here are some ways you can help:
Donate Funds
Food pantries use your monetary donations to purchase exactly what’s needed at bulk or wholesale rates as well as to keep refrigerators and trucks running.
Donate Food
Fill shelves so people can get the essentials they need directly on their table. A concrete, hands-on way to participate in giving back:
- Rotary Club of the Tarrytowns Little Free Pantry
Give what you would want to receive. An easy rule of thumb is buy extra of what you buy for your household. No gift is too small. All items should be unexpired, in good condition, shelf-stable, sealed, and able to withstand high temperatures.- Tarrytown: Outside Tarrytown Village Hall at 1 Depot Plaza, across from the train station
- Sleepy Hollow: Near the James F. Galgano Building Sleepy Hollow Senior Center at the corner of Andrews Ln. and Elm St.
- Community Food Pantry of Tarrytown
- Christ Episcopal Church, 43 South Broadway, Tarrytown
- Individual donations can be dropped off inside the pantry, at the corner of John and West Elizabeth streets, during the monthly volunteer dates/times (see calendar.)
Please do not leave items at the church.
