It was the 1970s and Israel had suffered a crushing near-defeat in the Yom Kippur War. Morale was low. What better way to renew Israel’s self-esteem than by the success of a fledgling basketball team, a team that put Israel “on the map?”
Join us for a sports-centric American-Israeli “stadium” dinner, followed by a really great film, “On the Map.”
