Why Join Temple Beth Abraham?

We are an inclusive community welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to worship in our sanctuary, study with us and celebrate Jewish holidays and life cycle rituals.

The first references to a synagogue in ancient texts call it the “House of the People.”

We join because this is the heart of the Jewish community, because our world is a better place with synagogues in it, because being surrounded by the words and melody and ritual of our ancestors feels like coming home.

We join to teach our children where they came from, and to explore where we are going. We join for practical reasons, yes — for a Hebrew school, and a Bar/Bat Mitzvah program, and High Holiday tickets, and clergy to officiate at life cycle events.

But we also join because this place completes and fulfills us, and we, in turn, want to be a part of this larger whole.

Temple Beth Abraham’s membership includes interfaith families who find a warm home here. Our clergy and members meet people where they are when they enter our midst, and guide everyone toward learning and Jewish growth at the appropriate, individual pace.

Our clergy team works collaboratively with staff and lay leadership to create our Jewish community we call Temple Beth Abraham.

Come for a visit on any Shabbat, or contact us for a tour or a Prospective Member Informational Package.
